As a mother of three birth children and foster mum of two daughters, I believe that every child deserves a special welcome and a naming ceremony is a fabulous way to celebrate and welcome a young life. I am naturally a very maternal person and love children, so naming ceremonies have a special place in my heart.
A baby naming ceremony is the modern day alternative to a christening. A naming ceremony is a tailored, bespoke ceremony that can be held pretty much anywhere and can include music, poetry, readings, symbolic rituals and promises to your child. The ceremony can include the personal commitments or 'declarations of intent' of the parents and other people to the child, such as guide parents, aunties or grandparents. Baby naming ceremonies are often held after a child has been legally named at a local registry office or as they reach a milestone birthday, or just whenever feels right for a family.
A naming ceremony can also be used to welcome an adopted child into a family or to formally announce the renaming of a transgender person.

Naming Celebrancy Fees
My fee is £240 for naming ceremonies within a 30 mile radius of Eastbourne, East Sussex. A deposit of £100 is required to secure your date and book me as your naming celebrant. The balance is due within 28 days of your ceremony date.
