A renewal of vows ceremony can be a wonderful way to celebrate the enduring love between two people and recreate your special day.

A renewal of vows ceremony can be held indoors or outdoors and at a venue of your choosing. There is no real limit, provided you have permission from your chosen location! A vow renewal doesn’t involve any legalities, giving you greater freedom to create your own personalised vow renewal celebration. Much like a wedding, your ceremony can include religious or non-religious content and can incorporate rituals, symbolism, music, readings or poetry. It's an opportunity to rewrite your vows or promises to each other and to consolidate both your past and future together.

A vow renewal ceremony can be tailored around your relationship, what you mean to each other and how you want to spend the rest of your days together. Children and other significant family members can be involved in the ceremony too, such as a ring blessing, a hand fasting or sand ceremony. Your children could walk down the aisle with you or you could even include them in the promises you make to each other.

The choice is yours to make. 

I will work with you to plan and deliver a beautiful and meaningful vow renewal ceremony that is tailored around you as a couple; the lasting love you have for each other and the promises you wish to make to each other.

As your vow renewal celebrant, I will:

• Spend time getting to know you as a couple and listen to your story
• Meet with you (ideally in person, or online if this isn't possible) to explore what your ideal ceremony looks like
• Discuss any rituals, songs, poems or symbolism you might want to incorporate into your ceremony
• Write a ceremony script that truly reflects and encapsulates your story. You will have the opportunity to read this beforehand and make any revisions that you want. If you need any help with writing your vows, I can also help you with this!
• Work with you to plan and deliver all aspects of the ceremony itself, such as readings and musical accompaniment
• Hold the space during the ceremony, bringing everyone together for that all important moment

I am based in East Sussex and cover most areas in the South East such as Brighton, Eastbourne, Lewes, Newhaven, Seaford, Hailsham, Uckfield, Bexhill and Hastings and beyond.

Vow Renewal Celebrancy Fees

My fee is £650 for vow renewal ceremonies. A £325 deposit is required to secure your date and the balance is due within 28 days of your vow renewal ceremony date. For celebrations outside of this area please contact me for an individual quote.
